CALIMA®

Natural sugarcane paper and paperboard
ready for your business needs.

About us

We provide 100% TREE-FREE, unbleached paper and paperboard made from sugarcane fiber. Our offerings include the earth pact® NATURAL line from Colombia and our own CALIMA® brand, providing brands with a sustainable alternative to reduce the ecological impact of their packaging.

Where does our paper come from?

After the sugar is extracted from the cane to make your favorite sweets,
a sturdy fiber called bagasse is left behind. We take that leftover fiber and transform it to our paper.

Zero Extra Land Required

We don't plant new crops to make our paper. By upcycling the existing agricultural byproduct of the sugar industry, we create high-quality paper without needing a single additional acre of land.

Protecting Natural Forests

Every ton of Calima paper saves trees from being harvested. By using a rapidly renewable waste product instead of wood pulp, we help preserve biodiversity and protect our planet’s "green lungs."

Always in season

Because sugarcane is harvested throughout the year, our raw material is continuously available. This ensures a stable production cycle and reliable, on-time delivery for your business.

Rooted in Colombian Heritage

The CALIMA® brand takes its name from the pre-Columbian Calima culture of Colombia's Cauca Valley, an ancient civilization known for its extraordinary goldsmithing and its deep connection to the land.

Today, this same fertile valley is home to vast sugarcane plantations, the raw material for our tree-free papers. A sustainable cycle that honors both nature and heritage.
